I want to clarify something. I'm NOT going to Italy. Sorry for the misunderstanding - when I said "consent form", I meant acknowledgement slip; ie whether or not I'm allowed to go there. Case closed :)
My mother tunes in to Gold 90 FM 24/7 and that drives me crazy!!! Oh sure, oldies are really nice but when you hear Gold 90 FM all day, playing the same hits most of the time you start thinking, "God, can't she turn off the darn radio?!" And all I hear about is Lobo coming to Singapore, Lobo this, Lobo that. Pfft. K this is just a mindless rant.
Lol, Beverly and I promised each other to keep in touch all the way until she relocates to Singapore at the age of 21. And from there we made a few pacts in the future: That I'll be her bridesmaid at her wedding and vice versa and that she'll be the godmother of my child and vice versa :):) I'm really blessed to have such a great friend like her, and I really hope that the flame of our friendship will continue burning strong.

:) yes. My parents love GOLD 90fm. And i've always got into little fights with them to turn to another fm. Haha. Oldies drive me crazy too sometimes. Anyway thanks for helping me the other time. ;).

blerghhh you should hear just how much gold 90 fm my mum listens to everytime. In the morning while eating before fasting it's gold 90 (and before we wake up, when she's preparing food). Afterwards it's sleep. When she wakes up again and sweeps the floor it's gold 90 blasting away. When she bathes it's gold 90 blasting away again in the toilet, when she comes out it's gold 90 again from the kitchen radio. When she rests in her room it's gold 90 AGAIN and when she cooks to break fast it's gold 90 and just before breaking fast gold 90 is STILL playing away!!!! Grr!!!

I threaded mine at this beauty parlour near my school for $5 :P Hmm maybe you can try Little India? Or for convenience's sake...Orchard Towers :D Most charge $5 for eyebrow threading! My friend threaded hers there earlier this year..i think it's at the top level or something. Heeh ;P
One day I wanna treat myself to the beauty parlour! I shall have my legs waxed and my hand henna tattooed ;)

My parents don't allow me to go to italy. But it's okay; I have mixed feelings about the italy trip actually! and we're going to sentosa on friday...hopefully! :D:D depends on val lah.

heh okay at least your mom listens to english oldies on radio, my mom listens to chinese oldies. you know those that you sing at a really high pitched voice? and she buys their CDs. as if listening on chinese radio is not enough. grrr. count yourself lucky compared to me =((
